Code of Conduct

  • Compliance with Laws and Workplace Regulations

    Pan-Pacific will comply with the laws and regulations and uphold the values of ethical management in all locations where we operate business.

  • No Child Labor

    Pan-Pacific will not hire any employee under the age of 18, or under the age interfering with compulsory schooling, or under the minimum age established by law, whichever is greater.

  • No Harassment or Abuse

    Pan-Pacific will provide a work environment free of harassment, abuse or corporal punishment of any form.

  • No Forced Labor

    Pan-Pacific will not use involuntary or forced labor -- indentured, bonded or otherwise. If the company needs additional overtime work, voluntary overtime request form signed by employees will be submitted in advance.

  • No Discrimination

    Pan-Pacific will provide fair and equal opportunity for all employees and potential employees regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, personal characteristics or beliefs.

  • Compensation and Benefits

    Pan-Pacific will pay, for regular working and overtime hours, amounts meeting or exceeding the legal minimum wage and/or industry standards, whichever is higher.

  • Health and Safety

    Pan-Pacific will provide a safe and hygienic work environment. Where residential housing is provided for workers, apparel manufacturers will provide safe and hygienic housing.

  • Hours of Work

    Pan-Pacific will comply with all applicable local law as well as ILO standards not to exceed the legal limitations set by the countries in which sewn product is produced. Manufacturers of sewn products will provide at least one day off in every seven-day period, except as required to meet urgent business needs.

  • Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

    Pan-Pacific will recognize and respect the rights of employees to exercise their freedom to association and collective bargain.

  • Environment

    Pan-Pacific will comply with environmental rules, regulations and standards applicable to their operations, and will observe environmentally conscious practices in all locations where they operate.

  • Brand Protection

    All supply chains contracted with Pan-Pacific must comply with the policy which the company and partners regulate, and protect the brands' intellectual property rights accordingly.

Contribution to animal welfare

Pan-Pacific controls the entire process of clothes manufacturing as well as down fillers production and processing, and does not use feathers plucked from live ducks, geese or other animals bred through force-feeding. Ethical treatment of animals is our priority.
In addition, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products while protecting the animals and ecology. We pride in our feather products for being environment-friendly and human-friendly.
We guarantee that we use no raw material linked to animal abuse such as live-plucking and force-feeding.

Protection of the environment

Pan-Pacific takes the lead in the protection of the environment through the reduction in the hazardous materials released during production and conservation of electricity, water, and other energy resources. We strive to minimize the adverse effects of manufacturing and production. We are dedicated to a sustainable environmental management, based on an intra-company environment-protection policy.

Waste water treatment system

Pan-Pacific is equipped with a waste water disposal facility to treat waste water generated during manufacturing and washing of clothes. We minimize pollutants with the system, only releasing treated, clean water back to the environment. With such industry-leading systems and dedication to ideals, we continue to be a pioneer in environmental management.

Efforts to the reduction of energy spent

Pan-Pacific is furnished with a water cooling system, which creates higher energy efficiency than the air cooling system. We conserve electricity by using LED bulbs.

Publication of Sustainable Management Report
Pan-Pacific has published Sustainable Management Report from 2015 onwards on a regular basis, building up from the foundation of transparent management. Via the Report we continue to communicate with the stakeholders on the issues involving social activism and corporate responsibility.
